The rise of the mid-length: feature for magicseaweed

Online feature writing for surf forecasting site, magicseaweed

For this feature, I wanted to create an engaging and inclusive piece of content for surfers of all abilities - and MSW’s editor liked the idea, giving me the thumbs up to write the piece. I interviewed style masters Devon Howard and Leah Dawson, and renowned shapers Britt Merrick and Andy Gale, getting input and views from mid-length enthusiasts around the globe.

UPDATE - magicseaweed is no-more! Sadly this feature in no longer available to read online but I’ve included some clips below.

“Hannah is a joy to work with. A talent who can take a sometimes lengthy, complex brief; understand it, and then write a piece that reflects passion for the subject matter, in an engaging and entertaining way, takes some doing. But it’s never too much for Hannah – who is an asset to anyone’s creative arsenal.”
