For this magicseaweed commission I was tasked with writing a piece that would educate and engage surfers and other water users on how to respect and protect the beaches when returning to the UK coast after the long year of lockdown.

I interviewed the likes of Hugo Tagholm from Surfers Against Sewage, Sally McGee from Yonder and Dan Crockett from Blue Marine Foundation, turning their nuggets of wisdom, as well as my own personal insights as a surfer, into a concise write-up that covers a load of important points whilst keeping MSW’s conversational tone.
