Interview with Easkey Britton: feature for magicseaweed

Feature writing for surf forecasting platform, magicseaweed

Dr. Easkey Britton is not only a multiple championship-winning big wave surfer (and the first female big wave surfer in Ireland), she’s also a marine social scientist, a writer, an artist, an advocate for social change and a blue health expert.

Easkey is a pioneer and powerful voice in the industry, so when MSW commissioned me to interview her about her new book, Saltwater in the Blood, I was delighted. We had some interesting conversations around being a woman in a hyper-masculine industry and the importance of diversity in our ocean space, too.

UPDATE - magicseaweed is no-more! But you can read a few snippets from the feature below.
